The look throughout is luxe—beautiful wood paneling, boutique-hotel-style bathrooms, comfy linens, dramatic brick-red statement walls—without the luxe price. For a small fee, you can upgrade to the Signature Club suites, which will give you a better view and access to Signature Lounge, which serves a good continental breakfast. The hotel also has an okay casual restaurant called Manhattan, but since you’re only steps from some of the best restaurants in the city you may want to dine out instead.
