Tourist-Information, Marktplatz 1 (tel. 0731/1612830; www.tourismus.ulm.de), is open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 4pm. From April to December, it's also open Sunday 11am to 3pm.
Getting Around
Ulm's only tram line runs east-west, connecting the suburban Messe (convention center) with the main Hauptbahnhof (railway station) and Söflingen. Ulm's historic core, Altstadt, lies within an easy walk from the Hauptbahnhof. Bus nos. 3, 7, and 8 radiate from the station to the suburbs. Buses and trams run at intervals of between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on the time of day and day of the week, and cost 1.90€ for travel within Ulm.
