A cousin of the Hotel Congress’s Cup Cafe across the street, this restaurant in Tucson’s restored downtown train station carries out a railroad theme, with old trolley track used for a foot rail at the bar and railroad spikes turned into table lamps. Serving steak, seafood, and a variety of specials, Maynard’s is a great downtown dining option. As much as possible ingredients are organic, local, or sustainably produced. Sunday brunch is a local favorite. There’s also a little market here where you can grab gourmet-to-go food; the market also serves sandwiches, salads, and drinks.
