Frommer's Review
Conveniently located on rue El Antaki and a 10-minute walk from the beach, medina, and city center, the 1950s Bristol still has some of the best-value rooms in Tangier. An old, creaking elevator ascends the three levels of large, simply furnished rooms, all with private bathrooms and big, breezy windows. The rooms can be a bit cold in winter, but it's to be expected at this level of accommodation. The English-speaking reception is staffed around the clock, so don't worry about a late-night ferry arrival. They have one studio with two rooms that is an exceptional value for two couples looking for an affordable stay. There's also a street-level bar, so it's best to request a room in one of the upstairs floors in case the music pumps up during the night.
