After a long run at another location, Basila's closed in 2000 to the dismay of many of its longtime aficionados, the same people who cheered its reopening in 2003. With its selection of Greek and Italian standards, including gyros, kabobs, fettuccine, hummus, and baked eggplant, the menu goes off the beaten path for Utah's Dixie, and there are also dinner specials like mango curry chicken and homemade lasagna. No alcoholic beverages are served.
