Because Terrassa is on the roof of the one of the tallest buildings in St. Petersburg, its views of Kazan Cathedral and other sights are impossible to beat. But it's not just the views that bring the crowds, it's the extremely long menu, which includes Italian-style seafood, pasta, risotto, grilled meats, Russian beef stroganoff, Asian noodles, sushi, dishes made with the very rare Kamchatka crab, pizza, and the cheese-filled Georgian bread called khachapuri. You can't go wrong with any of the pastas or risottos, cooked right at your table, the crispy Peking duck, or the brodetto di pesche, a stew of fresh seafood for two that's seasoned with tomato and basil. The bar menu is equally extensive, with some 30 pages of drinks. Reservations are a good idea.
