Yet another of St. Lucia's adults-only all-inclusives, this upscale beachside resort smartly specializes in mind-body spa vacations. The spa has something like 50 treatment rooms, so conceivably you could just bounce from one to the other like some well-oiled, blissed-out blob. Yes you could, if you didn't mind shelling out the extra dough it costs for treatments beyond those covered by the all-inclusive rates—basically one complimentary 50-minute spa treatment a day, from body wraps to massages to facials to hydrotherapy. But you can also fill your time with yoga, Pilates, tai chi, and fitness classes, as well as group golf, archery, and tennis lessons, and a beginning Discover Scuba resort course PADI program. As at other all-inclusives, additional private or personalized instruction for most of the aforementioned activities costs extra, as do several specialized body and skincare treatments.

That said, a stay at the BodyHoliday is pretty sweet; the beautiful beach alone is a mind-body balm. Everything is designed for maximum chill, from the canopied daybeds in crisp linens to the candlelight beach dinners; why, even the infinity pool has no edge. The dining is especially fine here, with one of the island's most celebrated restaurants, TAO, serving Asian fusion dishes from a second-floor aerie overlooking the beach. Rooms are done in a simple and straightforward colonial style, some with mahogany furniture and others with fourposter beds; you have your choice of garden or ocean views, with the latter commanding the higher rates, natch.
