This cool hotel feels like it’s off the beaten track, but it’s really not. Nestled into the generous canopy of trees on the relatively quiet backside of Orchard Road, this centrally located hotel is a gem for luxury seekers. Perks include air-conditioned tennis courts across the street, an alfresco bar framed in greenery, and dim sum that is coveted island wide at the hotel’s Jiang-Nan Chun restaurant.  While the hotel is popular with business people as well as families (children age 18 and under stay free in the same room with their parents), a nice touch is that the 11th floor is reserved for couples only. All rooms have extra large marble bathrooms with a private toilet and bidet, separate shower, tub, and double vanity.
