This elegant retro-modern lounge restaurant in a Bavaro shopping district serves innovative fusion cuisine and wood-fired pizzas at padded bench booths and leather-covered chairs indoors and on a lovely outdoor deck.

The overall theme of the kitchens is Latin Fusion, with a Caribbean twist, producing such delectables as lobster ravioli, pulled pork with sautéed onions and peppers with a black bean sauce on potato purée, and quail mofongo (a typical Greater Antillean dish, with quail confit and casava substituted for the more traditional pork rinds and mashed plantain).

Service is island slow, and the presentation mixes the familiar trendy-restaurant (rectangular plates drizzled with sauces around an artful arrangement), but with a sense of whimsy, like the sushi rolls laid out as flower petals with green-onion “stems” and wasabi “leaves.”
