This little Cap Cana beach club has a lovely stretch of sand planted with palm trees, shaded loungers and Adirondack chairs for enjoying the beach life with a rum drink, and a covered deck with little wooden tables for enjoying hamburgers and pizzas, tuna tartare and boca chicha-style fried red snapper.

The food can be a bit hit or miss (though the surf-and-turf burger, topped with shrimp tempura, mozzarella, arugula, and onion rings is a winner), but the setting is wonderful. It’s more of a lunch/early dinner sort of place, closing most days at 6pm—though many Saturdays they have live entertainment (acoustic guitar, band, DJ) and stay open to 8pm or later, with a limited food menu available.
