When it opened in 2009, this cool, charming and affordable B&B had just six rooms, hence the name. Since then, owners Pedro and Mariana have expanded into the house next door and now there are also six suites. They insist this is not a hotel, but a meeting place where visitors can really get to know the city. The colorful rooms are decorated with natural finishes in wood, cork, cotton and linen. Most of the units have high French windows, some feature balconies. There's a spacious breakfast room that opens out on the patio garden. Expect to start the day with warm bread, croissants and homemade pumpkin jam. A short walk to São Bento station and the shops of Rua Santa Catarina.
