The Windsor Hotel is great for families whose kids don't mind sleeping on a pull-out sofa. This bargain-priced, all-suites offering isn't super fancy, but its location is superb—halfway between City Hall and Logan Circle, the start of  Philly's Museum Row—and quite a sight cheaper than its chi-chi neighbor, the Four Seasons. Whether a studio or a one-bedroom, all of the fairly large units—functional, but nice—come with fully equipped kitchens. Some have balconies on the curved facade with views either to Logan Circle and the dome of the Basilica or toward the statue of Billy Penn atop City Hall. There is a seasonal rooftop pool and two on-site restaurants—Con Murphy's Irish Pub (live music Thursdays) and Asia on the Parkway—where guests get 15 percent off with their room key or in-room delivery. A bonus: Per-night rates get lower the more nights you stay.
