This slate-roofed 19th-century manor has a yellow and soft-red Empire dining room in which you can enjoy the finest cuisine du marché in the entire region. It also has an interesting history of its own dating from France’s disastrous exit from its former department of Algeria, when it functioned as a kind of refugee center for French citizens booted off their estates.
You can also stay in the château or l’Orangerie, a comfortable space but less grand than the château. Doubles in the château range from 112€ to 220€, suites 240€ to 460€, whereas doubles in the guesthouse go for 110€ to 135€.
