For a lighter take on opera, try this architectural puff pastry filled with operettas and (French) musicals. Created in 1714 for theatrical performances that included songs, the Opéra Comique endured several fires before finally settling down in a beautiful 19th-century theater complete with huge chandeliers. An excellent opportunity to enjoy both history and music in a splendid setting.
