The Oxford restaurants that get the most foot traffic are those that cater to students with cheap pricing and a friendly ambiance. Oil's Thai adds one more element to that mix: terrifically authentic Thai food. The menu is small but everything on it is bursting with flavor, and will likely be better than what you get at your own neighborhood Thai place. That includes the well-balanced vegetarian pad thai, the scrumptious corn fritters, the perfectly seared (and quite spicy) steak salad and the lovely Penang duck curry. Oil's Thai has been discovered, so it's a good idea to get a reservation before you make the 20–minute trek here from the center of town.
