A little bit north of the Hotel Plaza Boulevard gate to Disney World, and close to lots of restaurants, you’ll find these apartment-like quarters (there are two TVs and the kitchens even have dishwashers), which were renovated in recent years. The three-level buildings don’t have elevators, but overlook that fact and avoid the ground-floor rooms, which are darker and less private. The full breakfast is free and plentiful, and you can eat it indoors or out. There’s also a well-used pool in one of the courtyards. Expect rates along the lines of $140 for a one-bedroom with a king-size bed (sleeps four), or $30 more for a two-bedroom (sleeps six), with prices rising $20 to $40 when it’s busy. The Disney shuttle is free. Home or condo rentals are cheaper, but you won’t find many of those so close to Disney grounds, and those also come with cleaning fees and minimum stays.
