Nicer than its price point should permit, this hotel is clean, impeccably run, attractively appointed in a Spanish style, and located 10 minutes from Disney, out of the fray yet close to food options, and offering a very high quality for the price. Family suites are not divided by proper walls, but by waist-high partitions. This hotel, which opened in 2004 as a La Quinta, has a small arcade with air hockey for kids, and rooms have minifridges and free Internet access. It’s enough to make you forget (or resent) all those other worn-down Holiday Inn Expresses. Right outside its driveway, there’s a Walmart and, unusual for Florida, a smattering of Halal grocery stores.
