The Princess looks like it got stuck in the 1980s with its teal and pink color scheme and mirrored corridor ceilings but that's not necessarily a bad thing (especially for lovers of kitsch). That's not to say that rooms haven't been updated in several decades: they have. All have new paint, furniture, and bedding as of early 2014, and each comes with a pullout sofa and kitchenette. And their downright beautiful pool atrium is an answer to a family's prayer on a cool or rainy day. The atrium rises four stories to enclose an Olympic-size pool. A hot tub and sauna, arcade games, and plenty of tables and chairs fill out the space. Note: Most rooms have balconies—some overlook the pool. Cabana suites on the first level walk out to the lawn between the hotel and beach. Oceanfront condo units on the sixth to tenth floors are also available for rental.
