This expansive outpost of the Best Western chain is nicely located, but a few hundred feet from the beach. At the center of the grounds is an outdoor pool, which is well-kept, with a nice mix of seating areas and places to relax. This is another hotel in the area that does a great job of catering to families, with three-bedroom beach house options being the best bet for larger groups. In addition to families, the hotel's mix of room types also caters well to families and solo travelers (two separate buildings hold the units, one oceanfront, and the other right across the street). All of the ocean-view rooms come with balconies furnished with rocking chairs. The free continental breakfast is a culinary cut above, as it features biscuits and gravy, which is a nice nod to the local cuisine of choice. If you happen to go out fishing, or just pay a visit to the local Publix grocery store, there's a communal barbecue pit to cook up your vittles.
