Frommer's Review
Not really a cafe at all, this excellent little restaurant -- with white tablecloths, a stone fireplace, rich wood colors, and a bright, contemporary look -- is the place to come for innovative fish selections, plus a variety of seasonal beef, lamb, and vegetarian dishes. Dinner entrees, served from 5:30pm, include cedar-planked salmon with an applewood-smoked bacon-shallot crust; beef eaters will enjoy the grilled black Angus beef tenderloin with Pinot Noir demi glace. Another great choice is the grilled rack of lamb with mustard-currant sauce. The restaurant's small plates menu (available 3:30 to 6pm) offers lighter fare, such as the pizza of the day, a cheese and fruit platter, or baby back ribs. There is also patio dining and full liquor service.
