Frommer's Review
There are several worthy fast-food stands in the New York-New York food court, but this one deserves an individual mention. What began as a humble stand on the Venice boardwalk in Los Angeles has expanded into a sausage empire, and we are glad. You will be, too, especially if you take a chance on their menu and don't just stick with the basic hot dog (though they do offer three tempting varieties) and instead try something a little more adventurous, like the tequila chicken sausage made with jalapeños, corn, and lime. (We wish that they offered samples and an even larger menu, as the original stand still does.) Or just vary your basic sweet Italian sausage with a hotter variety. Either way, you can top it with raw or grilled onions and peppers as it gets stuffed into a sesame-seed soft roll. Maybe some chili fries, too. This is our first choice for fast food in the immediate area.
