This is Hong Kong's most famous tea house, open since 1933 and imparting an Art Deco ambience with its wooden booths, ceiling fans, and stained-glass windows. It offers dim sum from a limited English menu that changes weekly for delectables like roasted duck meat pie, as well as a fine assortment of Chinese teas like jasmine, lung ching (a type of green tea), and sui sin (narcissus or daffodil). Although it's pricier than most dim sum restaurants (tea alone costs HK$30) and service can be gruff, this is an incomparable slice of old Hong Kong.
