Slightly off the beaten track (but still within walking distance of the major sights) this Highlands-themed townhouse (built in 1895, but first used as a hotel in 1947) offers traditionally furnished , spotlessly clean rooms, some with four poster beds. But what makes it special are its owners and staff who are a wonderfully friendly bunch, who welcome guests with genuine warmth and lay out a veritable feast of a Scottish breakfast each morning. A truly special place to stay.
