Since 1872, this place has been serving simple Florentine food to go from a stall inside the covered market. It is famous for its panino con bollito, sliced beef boiled in its own juices and served warm in a roll. Nerbone is also strong on classic Florentine workers’ food like lampredotto (stewed intestines) and stracotto (slow-cooked beef stew; usually Wed and Sat only). Get here early if you want to avoid the inevitable line—and even earlier if you want to sit at one of a handful of tables. No credit cards or reservations.
