Though Peruvian chain Casa Andina's collection of mid-range hotels in Cusco doesn't stand out as much as it once did, this is still an overall decent value if all you are looking for is a good location and the standard set of amenities you'd find at any average American hotel. The Qorikancha location, 3 blocks from the Plaza de Armas, is less claustrophobic than the two hotels near the plaza. Simple rooms with blood-red walls, green woodwork, and comfy beds surround two laid-back courtyards. It's not quite as nice or new as Casa Andina’s Premium Cusco (see above), and the tired faux-Andean decor could certainly use a facelift, but you’ll sleep well here. The water is hot, the Wi-Fi works, and the breakfast buffet has everything you could want.
