Whether you've landed in Cusco at an hour way too early in the morning, before your hotel room is ready, and you want somewhere comfortable to relax, or you've just returned from a grueling trip in the mountains and want some sustenance, laid-back Jack's is where you will likely end up. Owned by the same guy who owns Paddy's Irish Pub, this is a favorite gringo hangout, with a dozen or so wood tables, a rack of English-language magazines, and a menu of international comfort foods. Breakfast, served all day, is the best option, with caramelized banana pancakes, huevos rancheros, and oversized toasted sandwiches. At night there are burgers and Thai curries. If you just want a brewed coffee or hot chocolate, they have that, too.
