Frommer's Review
Serving seafood and other Neapolitan specialties since 1937, this restaurant was a preferred hangout for VIPs in the 1950s. The food is still good, and you can choose from a variety of traditional Neapolitan comfort food, such as frittura (medley of deep-fried seafood) and mozzarella in carrozza (deep-fried mozzarella) -- prepared in four different ways Excellent Caprese specialties are zuppa di cozze (a bean-and-mussel soup) and ravioli alla caprese (with fresh mozzarella and basil).
