In the middle of Margaret Island is Budapest's best-located strand (literally "beach," but in reality a water park). The huge complex is fed by the island's thermal springs and consists of three thermal pools, an extra-large swimming pool, a smaller artificial wave pool, a water slide, a grassy area, and segregated nude-sunbathing decks on top of the building. Other facilities include ping-pong tables, pool tables, trampolines, and dozens of snack bars. The waters of the thermal pools are as relaxing as those at any of the other bathhouses (but the older ones offer a more memorable experience). Rates include either a locker or a cabin.
