Budapest is a walking city. There is nothing I like better than to wander around the streets to see what I can discover or rediscover. Every day brings a new discovery, even after so many years here. The walking tours are intended to give you a sense of the vibrancy that radiates from the city's history. On these walking tours, I have made a special effort to bring things to your attention that you may otherwise miss. In so saying, you can certainly choose parts of the tour that appeal to you most and hit those spots without doing the full tour. Many of the city's top attractions such as the Buda Palace, Parliament, the National Gallery, and the National Museum are included on these tours, but dozens of minor sites -- vintage pharmacies and quiet courtyards, market halls and medieval walls -- are included as well.
