This graceful 19th-century glass-and-wrought-iron palace is no longer the Botanical Gardens of Brussels, but it merits a visit as a monument of 19th-century architecture. There's still a fine ornamental garden outside. Nowadays the Botanique functions as a cultural center in which theater, music and dance performances, and visiting art exhibits are held.
