King George's elaborate stables, which are set to one side of the gardens surrounding the Royal Pavilion, now house an engaging and eclectic collection of Art Deco furniture, Lalique figurines, and period costumes, including regal attire from George's coronation. Many of the items were purchased by Henry Willett, a 19th-century Brighton brewer and social reformer.
