Visitors to northern Baltimore City, especially Johns Hopkins University's visitors, will find the Colonnade a pleasant and convenient hotel. Renovations of sleeping rooms was finished in 2014, with more contemporary furnishings and updated bathrooms with granite-topped vanities. Most of the 31 suites have king beds along with sitting area, wet bar, fridge, and microwave. The luxury suites have a door between sitting and sleeping areas. Standard rooms have two queen beds. A few rooms have balconies but no view. Amenities include a small fitness center, spa, coffee shop, and lounge that opens onto the hotel's elegant lobby with its clusters of arm chairs and gleaming wood floors, wainscoting, and pillars. The hotel's restaurant Alizee offer free parking for diners.
