Once the site of a longstanding mom-and-pop motel of the same name, the new Limelight opened in 2008 after the old one went the way of the wrecking ball. While nostalgic visitors might find the changes disarming, there is a lot to like here, from the sustainably minded architecture to the resident Lounge and its terrific happy hour. Rooms range from standard hotel quarters to 1,000-square-foot suites, all with a contemporary mountain style and a long list of amenities. Other perks include a free “First Tracks” program at Aspen Mountain and complimentary snowshoes.
